The expected impeachment vote in the House of Representatives marks an unsettling moment in Trump's war with California. Visit our live blog to learn how California is marking this historic day:

The expected impeachment vote in the House of Representatives marks an unsettling climax in this war. The most high-profile champions of Trump’s impeachment are Californians: Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Rep. Adam B. Schiff .

While impeachment of the president has strong support throughout California, the state is fairly evenly divided along party lines. More than 8 in 10 self-identified Democrats in the state support removing Trump from office, while about 8 in 10 self-identified Republicans oppose doing so, according to the latest UC Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies poll conducted for the Los Angeles Times and released in December.

Independents who don’t identify with either party split closely on impeachment, with 40% in favor and 36% opposed. That’s a relatively small group, however — only about 1 in 8 California voters — as most self-identified independents lean toward one party or the other.

Is it really a “historic day” he’ll be impeached in the house and acquitted in the senate and nothing will actually change

ImpeachAndRemove

Today will be another day of ‘infamy’ in the history of USA. 7th Dec was called that after Japan attacked Pearl Harbour in WW II. 18th Dec will be called that too when Donald Trump is voted to be impeached.

This is why the state should be split up.

Take him down fellow Californians, then set your sights on Nunes!

Democrats’ impeachment scam is primarily funded by corrupt & jealous billionaire donor, Steyer & promoted and managed by CA’s Defecation Democrats from places like San Fran & L.A., which are drowning in feces and used drug needles while giving sanctuary to criminal aliens.

Actually, California has been at war with anyone and anything that disagree with they're liberal agenda. It just so happens that Trump didn't turn a blind eye. I remember the days of Linda Ronstadt and Jerry Brown...nothing has changed.

Trump isn't going anywhere. Dems are delusional, especially in California
