The government should not select judges on the basis of their political views as they do in the US, the outgoing president of the supreme court, Lady Hale, has warned.

Please don’t select any snow flakes. Ordinary people not ladies or lords should get the job. We need harsh laws also mandatory life sentences for murders some rapists and child molesters.? We need a new prison for these killers. Single solitary cells. No tv just boredom.
Too late I fear. By the time we've finished this Parliament, our legal system could look very different and be acting as a barrier (through direction and self-interest) to any opposition getting in to power...
