Henry Hammond pleads not guilty to Parkville murder of Courtney Herron

The 27-year-old man accused of the brutal murder of Courtney Herron in an inner-city Melbourne park has pleaded not guilty in court.

Henry Hammond fronted the Melbourne Magistrates' Court by video link today as Ms Herron's family sat in the courtroom.Ms Herron's death prompted an outpouring of grief in Melbourne, with a silent vigil held at Royal Park in the week after her death.
