“They claimed to have gotten an arrest warrant from a chief magistrate known as I.I Kolawole, a name that does not exist in the Lagos State judiciary.”

, Lagos for alleged infringing of his right through an alleged illegal arrest and detention since December 5, 2019.

He prayed the court to compel the respondents to obey the order of the court, to restrained them from further harassing him and released him in forthwith. However, when a call was put through to Supol Thomas to ascertain the detention of the applicant, he did not pick or returned the call and also did not reply to the text messages sent to his phone.

The applicant also alleged that he was arrested with a fake warrant, which has not emanated from the court.
