The Chief Justice of Nigeria , Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad, yesterday advocated for the amendment of Nigeria’s constitution to accommodate some of the concerns of Muslims and the Shari’a law.
Constitution should be amended to exclude all forms of religious leanings from being included. Constitution should be amended such that incompetent people never rise to occupy sensitive offices. Constitution should remain secular. Church and state must stay seperate.
