He said there were no accusations of him being “unprofessional” for taking up cases against the government despite holding a post in a federal agency then. Earlier today, Pro ’98 Reformis Malaysia accused Haniff of “gutter politics” for representing Muhammed Yusoff Rawther, who was questioned by police over claims that Anwar had tried to outrage his modesty last year.
He said it was only because Yusoff’s sexual assault case involved Anwar that it was being labelled as “gutter politics”, adding that the principle of the rule of law meant that “nobody is above the law”.

Nampak macam ada yang kurang senang dengan cara Haniff memimpin Perda. Maklumlah belum setahun, banyak tindakan yang membawa kerugian kepada Perda telah dibanteras. Pihak2 yang selama ini mengaut untung besar tentu tidak puas hati. Carilah alasan dan peluang untuk 'kenakan'.
