Woman wants Samy Vellu, son to restore RM25,000 monthly maintenance

PETALING JAYA: A woman who claims to be a companion of S Samy Vellu has filed for an interim order from the High Court to have unrestricted access to the former MIC president.

Lawyer RSN Rayer and Ramesh Sivakumar will be appearing for Meeriam, who is currently residing in Ipoh. She said Vell Paari has disempowered Samy Vellu financially and taken control over his finances since 2017 and completely denied payment of maintenance to her.
