KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Human Rights Commission (Suhakam) is awaiting the final report of the special task force set up to investigate the disappearance of Pastor Raymond Koh and Perlis Hope founder Amri Che Mat, says Datuk Mah Weng Kwai.

"We are waiting for the special task force to submit their report and they previously mentioned that it would be done by this December.

Mah, who headed Suhakam's panel inquiry into the disappearance of the two men, said the task force is to submit their report to the Cabinet. He noted that the task force is supposed to carry out a probe on matters which were not initially investigated with regard to the disappearance of the two men. The panel findings alluded to individuals or groups involved in the force abductions of the two men, namely the police's Special Branch.
