A former Lebanon County police officer’s Jan. 6 charges made it all the way up the ladder to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Fischer is among nearly 350 people, including former President Donald Trump, who have been charged with obstruction. The charge holds a maximum 20 year sentence.“There were plenty of offenses the government could charge, but they wanted the 20 year maximum,” Lori said. “They were looking for, in my opinion, as much as they could get.
