Court right to charge Israel and Hamas?: Letters

President Biden and Speaker Johnson got it right: The ICC would be equating victim and aggressor if it were to issue the requested warrants. On the one hand, Hamas perpetrated atrocities to rival anything the Nazis did, and continues to hold, rape and murder hostages, to fire rockets indiscriminately at Israeli civilians, and to use its own civilians as human shields to increase their death toll for propaganda purposes.

Frankly, they are so biased I am amazed they even mentioned Hamas. Moral equivalency is alive and well. Indeed this outrageous action by the ICC is so horrible that it has both Democratic President Biden and Republican Speaker Johnson united in their condemnation of the ICC. The ICC should be uniformly discredited and abandoned. Finally please remember that it was Hamas, 100% supported by Iran, that killed, raped and kidnapped 1,200 innocent Israeli and U.S. citizens.

To keep the destruction going the U.S. has been the main supplier. The International Criminal Court should charge Joe Biden and his staff. Without American resupply the killing in Gaza would stop.
